WHEN IT ALL FEELS TOO MUCH...

I aim to create a safe space for you to explore your individual life experiences and choices in a holistic manner HEAD-HEART-BODY-SPIRIT.

WHEN IT IS HARD TO SEE A WAY FORWARD…

I will support you in your search for your own creative potential and inner strength, to help you deal with distress and life’s difficulties.

WHEN YOU ARE STUCK AND YOU’VE LOST HOPE THAT THINGS MIGHT CHANGE…

I believe that the moments where you stop and take the time to deeply listen to yourself are the most transformational in your therapeutic process. Being witnessed, accepted, and understood in your search for your own personal unique ways of expressing yourself can be a life-changing practice.

WHAT IS IT LIKE TO BE YOU?

I aim to explore your relationships with others, as I believe these are important elements to your wellbeing.

WHAT IS YOUR EXPERIENCE OF OTHERS AND THE WORLD AROUND YOU?

Together we may also focus on the question of meaningful living and what it means to you.

RELATIONAL DEPTH

My intention is to offer you a genuine human contact as well as my professional skills and experience.

When I listen to you, I attend not only to what you say (words, meanings) but also to how you say it non-verbally (tone of your voice, rhythm of your breath, gestures, body postures and movement). This way, I invite the unspoken and unknown with gentleness and respect into the space between us so it can be met, held and healed.

In my week, I commit to regular embodied mindfulness practice to stay present with you and welcome what is important for you to share with fresh openness and curiosity. Together we create a space for your inner knowing to emerge and guide our work together.

As a somatic practitioner I also dedicate my time to self-regulation care so I can support the stabilisation of your nervous system in a therapeutic way.

In my work I am able to draw upon from a variety of therapeutic approaches and use many techniques to facilitate your process of change:

  • Experiential Existential
  • Embodied Phenomenology
  • Focusing-oriented Psychotherapy
  • Process-oriented Psychology
  • Developmental and Clinical Psychology
  • Person Centred
  • Systemic thinking
  • Hakomi
  • Somatic Experience
  • Relational Whole Body Focusing
  • Transpersonal Psychology
  • Gestalt ideas
  • Cognitive behavioural therapy (CBT)
  • Psychodynamic Ideas
  • Therapeutic Play, Art, Movement and Sound.

I do not believe in the idea of one-fit-for-all, hence my passion for learning and extending the number of psychotherapeutic approaches that I am open to apply in your therapy sessions. You are the one who knows what works for you and what does not.
